REACH Services for the Registration of Chemicals
Search >>
The chemical registration market in Europe is currently seeing significant activity driven by REACH regulations. REACH testing for the registration of chemicals can be categorized into four areas:
- 1) Substance characterization
- 2) Physico-chemical testing
- 3) Toxicology testing
- 4) Environmental fate and eco-toxicological properties
The corresponding study requirements are defined by ECHA’s chemical registration guideline and are based on a tiered approach which can be found in the corresponding Annex listings. Depending on the tonnage band, the number and complexity of studies required will increase, starting with basic studies such as acute eco-toxicity studies and physico-chemical parameters, to more complex, higher tier environmental and toxicity studies.
