Developing a complex assembly line

Why:

One of our key customers was facing challenges in setting up an assembly line for the manufacture of neurovascular devices.
In order to reduce project times and the number of suppliers, the manufacturer asked Eurofins Sterile Packaging to assist with the implementation of the assembly line.
To support the customer, we used our expertise to address the challenges faced by the manufacturer and manage the development.

This case study is aimed at manufacturers of neurovascular devices and related products.

How:

Working closely with the customer, the following steps were taken to address the challenges: the establishment of a complex assembly process according to customer specification. This included a catheter assembly line with steps for cutting, gluing and inspecting the catheters, and an assembly line for loading neurovascular stents into the delivery system.
By providing a team of dedicated and skilled workers trained by the customer to process these products, we successfully addressed the specific challenges and requirements of the manufacturer.

The outcome was highly successful and set the tone for a strong, long-term partnership.
