Round Table (India )
Round Table India strives to undertake multiple actions under community service, like disaster relief work, providing medical equipment to the hospitals, elderly care homes and orphanages, and organising medical camps and fun activities for the differently abled children.
In 2023/2024, the Eurofins Foundation is supporting the construction of three classrooms, laboratories and a toilet block at Ambikabai Dharmaji Jadhav Girls School in Bhiwandi.
The school currently provides free-of-charge education to 650 female students. Of these, 200 are residential students. All accommodation, meals and education are provided free of cost to these children.
The current structure has eight classrooms and a small science laboratory. In some classrooms, they must combine two grades to accommodate students. Due to lack of space, 50+ student applications have to be turned down every year. The toilet block is also inadequate for the number of children.
Round Table India will build three additional classrooms, onae science laboratory, a computer laboratory, and a toilet block attached to the building.
