End 68 Hours of Hunger (USA)
End 68 Hours of Hunger was formed in 2010 to confront the 68 hours of hunger experienced by some school children between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday, and the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday.
In 2020/2021, the Eurofins Foundation provided support to the organisation’s operations, which reached 4,500 children, aged between 0 and 18 years old, in Florida and Ohio. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the number of children in need of food: with schools closing, they were missing out on 10 meals per week that were provided by their school under normal circumstances.
