Amigos do Bem Instituição Nacional Contra a Fome e a Miséria

The mission of the Amigos do Bem is to promote local development and social inclusion to eliminate hunger and poverty through educational activities and sustainable projects.

More than 1,200 tons of food are distributed annually to 15,000 families in extreme social vulnerability and food insecurity in 130 semi-arid villages of Alagoas, Ceará and Pernambuco.

In 2020, Eurofins Foundation contributed to the Food Distribution logistics, involving thousands of volunteers and several supermarket chains in the city of São Paulo, a city where Eurofins operates. The donation consisted of technical equipment and financial support, allowing the field teams to consult and update the online food distribution system in real time, verify the registration of the people served, monitor the beneficiaries' participation in various activities while being able to review impact indicators.
