Humanitarian help to Ukraine & refugees - ACTED
ACTED is a French NGO with a multi-sectoral focus that supported 20 million beneficiaries in 38 countries through 507 sustainable and inclusive emergency development projects in 2020 alone.
Eurofins Foundation's contributed to ACTED's four main actions:
- Delivery of essential goods in the sensitive areas through a supply chain set up by ACTED;
- Financial assistance and technical capacity building for local authorities to improve work and processes at the reception sites;
- Support Ukrainian refugees in Moldova and Romania by accompanying them to safe places and providing them with emergency financial assistance;
- Raising awareness and building the capacity of local actors.
Beginning of April 2022, ACTED had already:
- Distributed over 1,850 hygiene kits;
- Distributed 30,000 hot meals in Lviv, Kharkiv, Vulhedar and Dobropilliya and Svyatohirsk;
- Provided cash assistance to 700 Internally Displaced Population and refugees;
- Ensured the management of 150 refugee centres in Moldova;
- Supported 75 Ukrainian civil society organisations;
- Provided legal protection for vulnerable people as well as psychological support.
