Society for Community Organization and Rural Education - SCORE 

Society for Community Organization and Rural Education (SCORE) is a registered non-governmental voluntary service organisation working to support the rural and tribal people in poor and difficult-to-reach areas of India.

SCORE has implemented various welfare and development programmes and projects to elevate the socio-economic conditions of this area's poor, oppressed, SC/ST, and other disadvantaged communities.

In 2021/2022, the Eurofins Foundation supported the project dealing with “Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Livelihoods among Marginal Farming Women through Bio-Farming Methods”.

SCORE implemented this project for a group of 210 women. They received training on bio-farming methods of agriculture, including the preparation of vermin compost and bio-pesticides tonic, the creation of indigenous seed banks, training on drip irrigation, the development of kitchen gardens in the backyard of their houses, and marketing skills.
