Oral bioaccessibility
Oral bioaccessibility permits us evaluation of the sanitary risk for the contaminated matrices (ex: soils) ingestion.
In vitro tests have been developed in order to simulate human digestion mechanisms and to measure the released substances during the gastric and intestinal steps. This test can be perform on several contaminants: metals following UBM protocol from BARGE (Pb, Cd, As particularly) and organic compounds following FOREhST protocol (HAPs particularly).
