Eurofins E&E Finland & Korea Conformity Laboratories sign extended MoU

Eurofins Electric & Electronics Finland Oy is delighted to announce the signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), which extends the existing cooperation agreement between the two organisations for the quality assurance testing of BEV and PHEV batteries.
For the past four years, Eurofins E&E Finland has cooperated with KCL, providing a range of quality assurance testing services for a range of battery technologies to global customers, including vibration, thermal and charging cycling.
This new cooperation and the additional related testing resources it provides will establish a unique contribution to the move towards a greener and more sustainable world. These new services will assist in developing, applying and understanding how BEV and PHEV vehicles can contribute to this goal.
The MoU was signed by Mr Perti Aho, Managing Director of Eurofins Electric & Electronics Finland Oy and Sangkwon Lee, Vice President of KCL.
Eurofins E&E Finland was delighted to also welcome Deputy Minister Dae-jin Jeong from Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, Ambassador Jung-ha Kim from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Finland, Cleantech Head Markku Kivistö from Business Finland, Director of Sustainable development Helena Kyrki from Espoo City, Regional Director General Hyeoncheol Kim from KOTRA and Regional Head of the Industrial and Electrical Business Line of Eurofins E&E, Tarik Mahammed.
The event also marked the opening of the KCL office in Espoo, a move which allows closer cooperation between the technical staff of each company.
