By deciding to have your product voluntarily tested and certified with the Eurofins BG Mark, you prove that it meets all relevant safety requirements. The documentation of your products’ excellent quality by Eurofins as your third-party service provider offers your customers and business partners a valuable decision-making aid.
Key facts about the Eurofins Bauart Geprüft (BG) Mark
- Products are tested according to EN standards and any relevant additional requirements
- Annual factory inspections ensure that the product remains type-approved with the Eurofins Bauart Mark through the products whole life
- All EN standards applied are in accordance with the Official Journal of the European Union
- If an update to a standard is required, we will inform our Eurofins Bauart Mark customers in advance, allowing them to get their product prepared for the new standards requirements
- The validity is up to five years based on annual factory inspections
- The certificate holder is entitled to apply the Eurofins Bauart mark onto the certified product
