Founded in 2001, Human Factors MD is the preeminent expert in human factors analysis and testing for pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Managing Director Christina Mendat, PhD, joins the team as President of Eurofins Human Factors MD, LLC. She has over 20 years of human factors experience and has spent thousands of hours in various clinical environments conducting medical-based human factors studies. She and her team have successfully consulted on and conducted human factors tests on hundreds of products, including combination projects like injection devices and inhalers and medical devices like ventilators, ultrasound, MR scanners, patient monitors, and surgical instrumentation, to name a few.

Human Factors MD has helped clients by defining human factors plans and processes; performing use-related risk analyses; conducting early user research studies, including contextual inquiry, interviews, and simulated- use studies; creating instructions for use and training materials; labeling and packaging.
