Eurofins Consumer Products Assurance (CPA) is pleased to announce that it has been approved as a Verifier Body for the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP), joining over 200 signatories in working towards improving working conditions through converged assessment and collaborative action.

Established in 2015, SLCP is a multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to reduce audit fatigue and improve working conditions. Over the years, SLCP has grown from 33 registered parties to over 200 signatories, comprising brands/ retailers, manufacturers/ suppliers, agents, audit firms/ services providers and other stakeholders. SLCP has developed the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF), which collects compliance and performance information from production facilities, and employs a robust verification process to facilitate the adoption of the framework through data hosting and sharing on the SLCP Gateway and between SLCP Accredited Hosts. SLCP signatories have committed to replacing their proprietary social audit tools with the Converged Assessment Framework in order to reduce audit fatigue and free up resources that can be redirected to improving working conditions.

Eurofins CPA has been approved as one of the Verifier Bodies by SLCP, further showcasing our capability and commitment to deliver social and labor compliance assurance to consumer product supply chains. Our approval covers seven key manufacturing countries: Bangladesh, China, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Vietnam. Buyers and suppliers can now leverage our auditing expertise to achieve SLCP compliance goals and facilitate continuous improvement.
