Eurofins Agroscience Services Uberlândia field station, is based in Minas Gerais state, considered an agricultural research region. It is ideally located in the centre of the country and has good transport links to main roads and the airport.
Field and sustainability
We have a total of 9 hectares for planting and 100% of the area is irrigated using water from our own well and a rainwater system.

15 highly trained employees, including researchers, agronomists and technicians deliver high quality services including:
- Residue field trials
- Efficacy studies and agronomic feasibility
- Ecotoxicology (pollinators studies)

Wheatear and soil
The Uberlândia station faithfully represents the edaphoclimatic conditions of Brazilian cerrado, with a high-altitude tropical climate and medium to clay soil. This allows us to plant several native crops; summer (hot and wet) crops including, soyabeans, corn and cotton and winter (dry) crops including corn, dry beans, tomatoes and potatoes.
