New GSPP compliant test for Tomato Seeds at Eurofins Verdelab

Eurofins Verdelab (acquired by EAS Group in September 2024) has been recognized “GSPP compliant” for the detection of bacterial canker in tomato seeds.
GSPP (Good Seed and Plant Practices) is an international standard, whose purpose is to prevent tomato seed and plant lots from being infected by Clavibacter michiganensis subsp michiganensis.
Eurofins Verdelab has successfully passed all the requirements of the GSPP standard:
- ISO/IEC 17025:2018 accreditation
- ISHI method version 5 dated 2022
- 100% correct results in GEVES Proficiency test (inter lab comparison)
