In-house explosivity screening at EAS Columbia
EAS Columbia (N. America) expands services to include in-house explosivity screening
The Product Chemistry team at EAS Columbia has recently expanded its offering to perform explosivity screening with the PerkinElmer Differential Scanning Calorimeter DSC 4000 with Pyris Software.
This screening classification is conducted according to the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, with samples that undergo the preliminary screening and classify as a UN Class 1 explosive substance or UN Class 4, Division 4.1 self-reactive substance necessitating additional testing.
Requiring only a small sample size to conduct the screening, this analysis provides a highly accurate measurement of phase transitions and heat capacities to provide you with results you can trust.
