EAS Group announces Business Development Lead - Agriculture Technologies (Europe)
We are pleased to announce that Miguel Arato will join Eurofins Agroscience Services as Business Development Lead - Agriculture Technologies Europe effective December 1st 2023
In his new role, Miguel will focus on emerging technologies for the agricultural sector, such as biological crop protection, bio-stimulants, bio-fertilizers, digital farming tools and innovative approaches for seed treatments.
Key responsibilities include the implementation of new business models, seeing EAS further established as an enabling R&D partner for the New Ag business community with a major focus on Start-up’s. Miguel’s thorough understanding of the needs and challenges of the New Ag Business Community is integral to this role, allowing EAS to develop and deliver bespoke solutions.
Based in Salzwedel in the north of Germany, during the last 6 years, Miguel has worked with Biotech SMEs, developing B2B solutions for European and international firms from the Agribusiness sector. As a Head of Business Innovation for INOQ in Schnega, a biotechnology firm specialized in Biostimulants, he introduced a new product innovation strategy, developed new geographical markets, leveraged the portfolio, and attracted PE and public funds. He was credited with growing the business significantly during his time there.
Miguel’s international exposure, gained through his scientific and professional career in the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America, will bring great value to EAS Group. His scientific background in Agriculture as well as his experience and expertise gained through several years of innovative business development make him a respected partner for all future clients in the NewAg business arena.
