Reduction of food waste is a major concern and one that is listed in the UN development goals. In order to support plant breeders, EAS can evaluate the quality of new varieties after harvest and storage, for shelf-life or food processing.
For more than 25 years, EAS teams have supported customers, testing innovative post-harvest technologies for efficacy and safety GLP studies in a large range of crop commodities, including apple, pear, kiwifruit, stone fruits, table grape, tomato, strawberry, citrus, avocado, banana, persimmon, lettuce, potato, onion, cereals, tulip & lily bulbs.
