Implementation of an assembly line for navigation systems

Contact us

Why:

The case study focuses on how we addressed the challenges faced by one of our key customers in setting up an assembly line for the manufacture of cranial and spine masks.
In order to reduce the number of suppliers, the manufacturer asked Eurofins Sterile Packaging to implement an assembly line.
The goal was to support the customer by using our expertise to efficiently address and manage this challenge.

For Whom:

The case study is intended for manufacturers of navigation systems in the medical device industry.

How:

In response to these challenges, a product-specific manufacturing processes was established and the following new processes received investment: the implementation of a crimping process for the customer’s navigation system, including installation, qualification and the validation of this process.
The implementation of an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge workstation) workstation for inspecting diode functionality and an assembly for the product-specific assembly of tapes.

Outcomes:

The outcome was highly positive and set the tone for a strong, long-term partnership, resulting in collaboration in further projects.
